My best birthday memory happened when I turned 13. I had a roller skating party and it knocked my socks off. I can still think back to the day and know what I wore...how my (god awful) hair looked. Exciting day for me!!!

My favorite birthday memory was of the year I had my party at McDonald's. I was SOOOO excited to get to work the ice cream machine. I recently found the picture from when I got to do it and my grin was from ear to ear!

My best childhood birthday memory happened at 5. I was obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake. My parents surprised me with a Strawberry Shortcake party, complete with a new dress and bow. Greatest birthday party ever to a 5 year old.
Growing up as a twin, we would often get the same gifts given from our parents. They would make us sit back to back as we opened it so that we wouldn't ruin the surprise for the other. It still makes me laugh to this day.
Awesome giveaway!! Thank you to all of the vendors!

when i was a child we moved to florida from indiana. i hated being away from "home" and i missed my family terribly. on my 7th bday, i came home after school, and was told there was something i needed to do in my bedroom. i opened the door and in the dark, walking towards me were two people with their hands out! to me it looked like two strangers trying to grab me! i turned around and ran, screaming! i was completely terrified! it turns out my grandma and my favorite aunt had come for a visit! after the initial horror wore off, it was replaced with pure excitment! my grandma has since passed away, and it is still one of my fondest memories! (oops..i also added this to the wrong comment area a min ago!)

The best memory as a child is really hard. My mom was always coming up with new fun ideas. I guess my 9th birthday. It was an Hawaiian theme. ( my birthday is in Jan) but we had brown carpet, so it looked like sand and everyone changed into their bathing suits. we cranked the heat so it was not cold, as there was snow on the ground. We played silly games and mom mom made everyone a grass skirt (out of garbage bags). OH the memories.

My best birhtday memory is when I turned 10. I spent the entire weekend with my Grandma Carol (who is the coolest grandma by the way). We were going to go horseback riding to celebrate my very special day. But before we went, she made me french toast in the shape of a horses. To this day, I think those were the best pieces of french toast I've ever eaten!

My mother loved hosting birthday parties... apparently it's genetic because I do too, and currently my 5 year old is drawing up plans for her birthday in december. Slightly frightening. Anyway... I loved my cabbage patch birthday when I was in 1st grade. I still have old friends who tell me they remember it. It was that awesome;)

Best birthday is my 16th. Not because of the traditional reasons, though. I am a twin and if you know anything about twins you would know that you almost never get something of your own(especially birthday parties). It is always shared. So for my 16th birthday my twin sister surprised me with a limo and all of our best friends to drive around and go to and old timey ice cream shop and hang out! It was awesome!! She is the best twinkie!

Amazing giveaway...can I still qualify even if I am best friends with one of the owners? :) If so then I am already a facebook fan of yours!!! And my favorite birthday memory was my 11th birthday having a slumber party with 20 girls in my parents front yard!!!
I didn't start celebrating my birthday until I got married 9 years ago. So my best birthday was when I was turning 24. I was pregnant with our second son, and I had to work that day. My husband wanted to have me a big suprise b-day party, but being that I am a New Years Eve baby it was hard to get my sisters to drive 3 hours to celebrate. Needless to say he and my son baked me a cake and sang happy birthday. It was and still is one of the best birthdays ever. Oh and the reason I guess my mother never had me a birthday party was because I have 4 sisters and 4 out of 5 girls birthdays were December 20, 25, 31 and January 3. No regrets because Christmas was always great.
I am a fan of yours on FB and by the way I saw your Ava pattern this morning on DIY email. I am so excited for you. Are you going to be on the show?

My best/favorite birthday memory would be when I had my birthday parties with my grandma. We share the same birthday, so when I was younger, we would combine our parties! So much fun. As a teenager, I thought I was too cool to have my parties with my grandma, and now I regret that, but I cherish the ones we have together now, and the memories of the ones years ago!

My best childhood b-day memory is...
I was 9 about too be 10. My grandfather had a massive heart attack and a heart transplant the month before my b-day. My birthday is 3 days before christmas so we all thought he would miss both this year. My grandfather was like a dad too me and I was heart broken that he wasn't going too be there. My parents said we wern't going too have a party but they were taking me too dinner. Dinner ended up being my grandfathers hospital room. All my friends were there! Everything was decorated and my grandfather was sitting up with my gift in his hand. It turned out too be the best birthday party and with all my friends and my grandfather! Ill never forget that b-day!
How wonderful! Thank you for the giveaway! I don't know who would be more thrilled to win -- my three-year-old daughter, or myself. :)

And my favourite childhood birthday memory is a tough one: I had some great parties! I think it's the year I had 6 or 7 little girlfriends over and we sat around the dining room table decorating our own little pieces of a plain, chocolate slab cake with icing and candies my mom and I had picked out from the bulk food store. I loved making my own design! My hubby and I did the same thing this year for our daughter's third birthday -- at her request, we rented a cake pan from the bulk food store that was shaped like a purse; iced it in pink (of course!) and gave her 8 or 10 little bowls of different candies to decorate it with. She had a ball. (But we totally overestimated the amount of candy we needed and ate it for weeks afterwards!)

My favorite childhood birthday memory was turning 5. It was a Sunday, so we kept it small with my three older sisters & parents. After eating my hearts content of my favorite cookies and cream ice-cream cake, we went on an evening walk. It was the end of May, and the honeysuckles were dazzling. I remember the sweet smell filling me up. We picked flowers and tasted their honey till the sun went down. The sun's warmth lingered, and we walked home with the chirping of crickets accompanied by the dancing fireflies of Mobile, Alabama. My small party was perfect. We moved across the country soon after that, so it was a sweet parting memory.
My favorite birthday memory is my 5th birthday party- My little brother was born during it! My mom had called my aunt earlier in the day to have her come over and host my party because she was headed to the hospital and she didn't want me to miss it! Then she called me during the party to tell me that my little brother was here! It has always been fun to share a birthday with my little brother!

Favorite memory was my 9th birthday where I had cabbage patch kids Mylar balloons as favors and got a kodak disc camera as my big birthday gift, that was pretty cool! Thankss for the cance to win!
Best birthday memory was a breakfast kidnap party we had when I was around 9years old. It was so fun to wake up my friends, "kidnap" them and bring them back to the party at our house in their pj's. Mom made orange julius, hash browns, saugage, eggs and my favorite mini size cherry topped cheesecakes. I will never forget it. Hopefully my daughters will have a party that will stick with them in their memory as well. BTW - awesome giveaway!
I have two is that okay??? One when I was
young and one when I was older! When I was
seven I remember my mom threw this adorable
birthday party and I remember I wore this light
denim jumper and we got our faces painted and I got
a giant butterfly! I know it sounds lame but I will always
remember it. Second when I was sixteen and my mom
threw me a sweet sixteen party and I was so suprised to see all my friends were there and I remember when I walked in the first person
I saw was my best friend who now is my husband
and I got to stay out late and watch the fireworks
with him! (we didn't kiss for the record! It took two years
and nine months later for that to actually happen!)
I also got a guitar for that birthday and it was so freakin sweet!!
Thanks for such a great give a way joy you are one sweet lady!!

Gosh, my memory is so jam packed full right now, that the only one I can think of is when I turned 17 and my parents bought me a car!! I think around my 6th or 7th b-day my dad surprised me with New Kids On The Block tickets! That was pretty special too. Especially since my dad sacrificed his evening for screaming girls-----ahhhh John :) He was my fav!
I have to say, if I win this bundle of stuff....my daughter is turning 6 in a few months, and this will for sure be her best b-day memory! I am already planning it now!

My best birthday memory was when I turned 16. I thought my parents had forgot about my birthday because they didn't say anything or even acknowlege that it was my bday, I was so sad, and then my mom told me to go out to the garage and get some things out of the freezer for her, when I went out there was a black sunfire with a huge bow on it, I think I may have passed out when I seen it :)
My best birthday memory is when I was 10ish and my 4 friends and I had a campfire and ate two whole bags of marshmallows (under my dad's supervision). My mom didn't let us have any birthday cake till after breakfast the next day. We didn't really mind because we were so stuffed. Thanks for the giveaway. mybabyappleseed(at)yahoo(dot)ca

My best birthday memory didn't happen to be my own birthday, but a really fun birthday party I went to where we crawled into a tunnel into her garage all decked out to be like a roller skating party. they had disco lights and everything.

Oh my let's see...Well being #3 of 8 kids my Mom did an AMAZING job of making us feel so important on our birthdays ALWAYS!!! I loved all of my "little kid" birthdays...They consisted of sleep overs and Roller skating parties to swim parties at a local pool place, but if I'm being 100% honest my most favoritest MOST memorable BDAY was my 16th, and not for the obvious reasons of being able to drive, cause in Idaho (where I grew up) you get your license at age 15!! But because my Mom literally made me feel like the most important person on the planet!! She had every marquee in the teeny tiny town changed to read "Happy Sweet 16th Birthday Cortnie!! You're the Best!!! We love You!!!" I also could start "officially" dating then, even though my parentals didn't know I kinda sorta went on dates after I cheered at football and basketball games with then Boyfriends.....teehee!! Good thing I'm married now and they can't ground me anymore!! :)

We moved about 8 months later and I had to take it to a farm because we moved to the city and couldn't take it.

Oh, gosh, all of my childhood birthdays were amazing! I just remember from the moment I woke up I would feel special - whether it was my mom dying the toilet water pink (still my favorite color!) or letting me have a cupcake for breakfast, she made the day so special!
